HOW CAN I HELP?
UNICEF estimates that a thousand children in Gaza have become amputees since the conflict began in October. “This is the biggest cohort of pediatric amputees in history,” Ghassan Abu-Sittah, a London-based plastic-and-reconstructive surgeon who specializes in pediatric trauma, told me recently. Wheelchairs, crutches and prosthetic limbs are urgently needed to help all the children that went through the horrifying experience of losing their legs or arms back to recovery. Rehabilitation specialist teams are also required to help the little angels get back on their feet and back to life as soon as possible.
Donating to Kids of Gaza Prosthesis Initiative will make you part of a worldwide humanitary force to raise the funds urgently needed towards securing the purchase and delivery of much needed supplies for the hospitals in Gaza and to also fund fund surgery and rehabilitation teams on the ground, helping the kids of Gaza on the way to their recovery.
We will not be able to do it without you. Thank you!
